About The Artwork
«Alabama» is the first artwork from the series «Gold Dream». My inspiration juices have been livened up and I am living the black and gold dream and loving it. It really is none of those things, and if used well and paired with interesting pops of colour, Black and Gold makes a surprisingly a-typical palette. It’s bold, glamourous, elegant, timeless and decidingly NOT boring. The design world really has had this one locked up for, well, forever really. Artwork can be positioned vertically and horizontally. Materials used: high guality cotton canvas. Acid - and lignin-free, museum quality for highest age resistance. Size 24 x 24 x 1,5 cm. Black framed 1,5 cm. Renate Natalja is a Visual Artist and Printmaker from Estonia, based in Oslo & Sunnyvale and goes by the name RE L'ENVIE. She is self-taught artist. But she has participated in several exhibitions in Europe. Her work is informed by personal experiences, observations, and curiosities. Her love of gold color, flowers and surreal, anchor a lot of her work and genuinely reflect her soul and personality. She try to incorporate this experience into printed works through collage, paper, and photo stencils. As well Renate loves to experiment with different materials and acrylic colors. Mainly she creates abstract works on canvas.
