Alfred Sisley Pop art Painting

Alfred Sisley, born October 30, 1839 in Paris and died January 29, 1899 in Moret-sur-Loing (Seine-et-Marne), is an English painter and engraver, attached to the Impressionist movement and living and working in France. He made a first attempt to obtain French naturalization in 1888 which did not succeed, then again in 1898, interrupted by his death due to throat cancer. The success, which he did not experience during his lifetime, will then occur. In 1874, with Claude Monet, Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro, Edgar Degas and Berthe Morisot, he founded the Société anonyme des artistes peintres, sculpteurs et engraveurs, and participated in the first three of the eight Impressionist exhibitions. The first exhibition of Impressionist painters took place at the premises of the photographer Nadar in 1874, then in 1876 and 1877. In 1882, he made an appearance and did not participate in the following ones.
