The painting depicts famous scene from Stanley Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut" when Alice Hardford calls on her husband's bullshit while graciously smoking a joint. The painting belongs to the series of "Women Film Icons in Interior Design" by George Hertz. It aims to immortalize stills from iconic films and give an opportunity to viewer to once again take pleasure from the motion picture masterpiece, and women who make them unforgettable. As a rule, in each of these pop-art frames there is a male spectator present, but only women are visible. This underlines women's dual position as both subjects and objects within each painted scene.
