Flowers are different. Some die off immediately, if they are broken, these immediately release new leaves and stems, falling into a new wave of lush flowering. ⠀ The whole essence of a tulip is in its bulb, not in a fragile stem and flower. Next spring, if the gardener remembers to put the sleeping bulb in the ground, you will see the tulip again. Picture from the series "Second Chance". I used to throw unsuccessful watercolor works.
