About The Artwork
This painting depicts an American robin which is a red breasted migratory bird of the thrush family. These beautiful songbirds inhabit North America, wintering from southern Canada all the way to central Mexico as well as along the Pacific Coast. The American robin is the the state bird of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Connecticut. Robin's have always had a special place in my heart and some consider them lucky when sighted. I hope my painting inspires you to learn more about them too.
