The amygdala is a part of the brain that handles emotions, especially fear. It is the archive of emotional memory, an anticipator of pain. In front of this sacred stained glass-like image I see a wall of darkness rise above my head. Alien and primitive like abysmal creatures my fears dance above me. In them I mirror myself, I see my face. I am them, they are me. Beyond them light, birth, Liberation.
