This picture is inspired by more classical landscape. I've been interested in playing with unusual colors to create a landscape image and felt greens, blues, purples and yellows were appropriate for the style of image I came up with. It was a curious process getting the reference for this image. It wasn't what I would have expected.

I was born in Alaska, grew up in Arizona, and attended college for art at Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY. Now, I have moved back to Arizona and currently live in Kingman. Currently I study Art History at ASU and teach art online while producing abstract and landscape pieces. My creative interests include using the language of art to innitiate a dialogue with the viewer.
