About The Artwork

On the artistic canvas, we see the events when " ... all the springs of the great abyss were opened, and the Windows of heaven were opened; and it rained on the earth for forty days and forty nights." (Genesis 7: 11-12) the Action unfolds rapidly. The rolling wave will destroy the remaining people on the ground in a moment. People are exhausted, there is no hope of salvation. Some of them have already accepted their fate, some are spewing curses. The eyes of the pagan priest are filled with the horror of death. Man-made idols are powerless. Because of human atrocities, not only people were destroyed, but also animals and birds. Only the righteous Noah and his family were saved. The choice of theme clearly indicates the artist's intention-to remind the viewer of the terrible lesson of the flood that befell the world, when " all flesh perverted its way on earth." We, as if personally, saw the death of all living things. How can I avoid the repetition of such events and is there any other way? Repentance is the boundary between life and death. Repentance is the transition from corruption to incorruption.

Hi! I am a professional artist Vladimir Davydenko from Russia. I work in all genres of realistic oil painting. I admire the beauty of the world around me and try to capture it on canvas. Whether it's a landscape, portrait or still life. With pleasure I write sea waves breaking on coastal rocks. I try to create a feeling of sea breeze and rolling waves. My favorite genre is portrait, and especially thematic painting. There are no problems with the scenes. I close my eyes before I go to sleep, and suddenly, in a flash, I see event. It remains only to develop on the sketch and start work. In the process of working with oil, I feel a huge emotional rush, which is captured on canvas. I hope you will definitely feel it.
