The horse is my source of inspiration. Their gracious movement, their supreme strength , their eye expression and their past utilitarian role have always captivated my artistic attention. I feel that the human figure and the horse subject are among the most perfect subject for a painter; and, although I study the human figure in art school, their has been a fascination with the horse subject that made me extend the subject beyond my limitations. I think the key element in the subject for me is the eyes. I think I can derive from them the animal's thought in such a way that the spectator really believes in my art. This is a connection that most of my collectors feel and share with me.
