In 2003 he decided to attend courses at the Modigliani Art School in Padua, where he graduated in 2007. From this moment on, he began his career in the field of painting. With a realistic figurative style, he has an interest in the psychological condition and pours into his work a subtle melancholy and evil veiling of living almost always present in his works. His art escapes a definition too photographic to search for the meaning, the connection with the surrounding, deepening psychological themes, without leaving aside a characterization of the symbolic and conceptual subjects. The artistic path of Raniero Menin is characterized, from the beginning, by a dialectical and critical attitude towards the observed reality, with a strong speculative component: the artist's taste and observation ability is pushed beyond the limits of the work , to suggest to the attention thoughts and to stimulate reflections that realize an ideal connection of elements in order to recall situations and states that can be found beyond the object of its operation. Interested in the use and research of different materials, he explores the possibilities offered by media and expressive means of various kinds, not forgetting the precise and detailed definition of the represented and the incisiveness of the proposed message
