ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Apache Playing Cards - Painted on heavy watercolor paper Based on the 40 card Apache Monte deck. The cards, which included the 4 suits of Swords, Cups, Cudgels, and Coins, were usually hand painted on animal hides. I made this to look like a collection someone put together 100 years ago - The cards and labels are mounted to the watercolor background so that they "hover" above the surface. IMPORTANT: Even though the image is the same on every piece of this edition, the details vary slightly between each piece as they were all hand painted separately! Expect subtle differences from the piece pictured! 25" Wide x 34" Tall Limited Edition of 20 Signed & Numbered on back Watercolors, Ink, Paper
