About The Artwork
"Apple keeper" textile painting was inspired by The Goddess Idunn. In Norse folklore she was the keeper of apples, which she fed other Gods and Goddesses to keep them forever young. Here she sits under the apple tree handing the red fruit to the world. Most of my textile wall hangings look like paintings. But thanks to specific medium there is a rich texture in every piece making it even more interesting when you come closer and see all the details.
