About The Artwork
This painting is an aerial view of a arctic glacial land/seascape showing the 'lakes' that form as the glacier melts. I have used a mixture of acrylic paint, crackle medium, structure medium and sand to create the illusion of ice and snow. The process of creating the rivers running into the lakes was to bleed cerulean blue acrylic ink into the dried crackle medium. It wan't instant, but took some time to achieve the desired effect. The painting will be shipped carefully and safely packaged.
