About The Artwork
Argento in Copper combines encaustic wax painting with 3 dimensional plaster relief and seed beading on wood panel. The "gesture" drawing of the horse is made in relief with plaster, then the entire panel is painted with earth tone encaustic wax. Seed beading is used to paint and create forms and texture for a complex, yet tranquil portrait of a horse.
