About The Artwork
I call this painting Arid Zona, which is a nickname for Arizona, where I currently live. Actually the painting feels like any desert environment. The painting is part of my recent Bauhaus Fusion Series, where I superimpose sharp geometric (Bauhaus) designs over a soft flowing background created by watercolor techniques. The contrasting combination 3-D effect. The geometric design includes metallic copper which is brilliantly reflective in some lighting and turns almost a maroon in other lighting.
