About The Artwork
I am influenced by Richard Diebenkorn and Cy Twombly as many Ab X artists, but my environment and the visual stimulation of all that is around me is my greatest influence. My primary source for my work is the marks I add to the surface whether it is a canvas or plate. All else evolves from there, the texture and color, movement, and depth. I don't always have something specific in mind, just a feeling or emotion that often evolves as the meaning begins to surface.
