Some find it hard to like color in their homes, or better yet they find color intimidating, and that's ok. Perhaps they are afraid of making a mistake when it comes to decorating, and color coordinating the home. We all make mistakes, and that is how we learn. Look at it this way, what's the harm in expanding your horizon with color. Just go for it, there are no mistakes if it suits you, and you like it. Besides, your choices are your choices, and you have to live with them, so try it. When you own your choices (no matter what they are), no one can make you feel bad about them. A piece of colorful art can also be a color swatch for you to build your design around. For me, I love color, and it may be hard to tell because my wardrobe is a sea of black. Well, this doesn't stop me from exploring color in other ways, like creating abstract works of art as a representation of my love of color. I hope that my art brings joy, peace, comfort, love, strength, companionship, and inspiration to your life, especially during this time that we are living in, and feels in that empty space beautifully. I know that painting brings me peace, comfort, joy and helps me to stay focused and relaxed. It also lets me create the endless amounts of art that I have inside of me onto canvas. It's as if my heart, soul, and mind, along with my hands are on their own when the brush hits the canvas. I never have that "painters block" that some artists get. I really am prolific. This is my calling, and I am excited for my and my families future, with this gift that God gave me leading the way to serve my purpose. With me being "self-taught" whatever that means... I feel that my creativity is endless, boundless, limitless, and that I could paint everyday and never get tired of creating.
