I am a contemporary painter whose work explores the quiet tension between beauty, time, and transformation. Through still life, architectural subjects, and layered surfaces, I focus on moments where resilience reveals itself through endurance. My practice centers on the idea that beauty deepens rather than diminishes with age, wear, and use. Weathered structures, bruised florals, and timeworn objects recur throughout my work as stand-ins for bodies and histories shaped by pressure. I am particularly drawn to thresholds- physical and emotional spaces where change is present but unresolved. Working primarily in acrylics, I build depth through layering, contrast, and restrained luminosity, allowing texture and shadow to carry narrative weight. Ornate framing and intentional presentation are integral to my work, which I feel reinforces dialogue between reverence and impermanence. My paintings invite slow contemplation. They are meditations rather than declarations: objects meant to be lived with, not merely displayed. Collected together or individually, my work offers a quiet, persistent presence that continues to unfold over time.
