Ava’s Choral Practice in the Tillandsia Painting

During covid 19 restraints, choral practice was an individual exercise. The positioning of the singers expresses the isolation of practice, without much feedback.This is my niece, Ava in Hawaii, far away from a NYC university, practicing her work in my Hawaii garden. The tillandsia can live without roots in the humid air. This one has fancy curlicues with a touch of purple on the tips. I have been painting the outside environment for many years. The added "little people" explain the painting story by their actions and joy spent with friends and family doing normal things in their life. I hope that the stories bring back some hidden memories of childhood that we all have in made in our imagination.
