About The Artwork
Painting created in July 2020 after a trip to Bellagio, Italy by the Lake Como where Azalea is a symbol of the town. Azalea was blooming, it is all over the town and in most beautiful shades of red, pink, white, and purple. The flower gives me a warm feeling of an Italian veranda or terrace on a hot morning when only the summer furniture is out, sun is already heating the air and soon people will start coming, bringing water and croissants and having breakfast. Painting made with oil paints on fiber canvas.
