About The Artwork
Then I was living in Estonia I made a series of Matryoshka paintings. After moving to Greece a gallery asked if they could have an exhibition on the paintings. To promote the exhibition I made this painting. It shows a Matryoshka/ Babushka/ nesting doll flirting with Karagiozis the famous Greek puppet.
