ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Flamenco dancers express the fire in their hearts, the pain in their guts and the passion of their longing. All of that is in this painting, as symbol for the wide range of female emotions. We go through the hell of longing and desillusion, and come out as artists. And the heat of our passion survives in the end our failing body, because these female powers are universal and eternal. As background i made a collage of newspaper articles. I painted with spray and oilpaint.
