Balm for emotions Painting

My love for painting since I was a child was influenced by my father who was a talented draftsman. With him I learned different techniques of drawing, composition, and expression. He was my main source of inspiration. My experience continued in continuous learning, attending drawing, and painting workshops, learning figurative drawing techniques, building three-dimensional forms through the shading of light and shadows and attending sessions with live models.Currently my works focus on abstraction through shapes, colors, and textures, proposing a new reality different from the natural one. In each stroke and thanks to my lively color palette, which is found in some of my collections, I want to spread states of joy and vitality. Art was always present in my life and I knew how to combine it with my profession as a graduate in Information Systems. For me, painting, is a process that begins in front of a blank canvas without any preconceived ideas or expectations of the final product. My inspiration is based on externalizing my own thoughts and feelings; giving permission to my soul to levitate, forgetting everything that happens around me. Each line, color, shape, texture and composition reveals a hidden story, reflecting a state of fluidity and transformation. My personal and meditative process is as important as the final result. My paintings are open to each viewer to interpret them with their own imagination and personal history. I seek a relaxed atmosphere that fosters my creativity and inspiration. This inspiration comes from the memory of a trip, nature, its smells, sensations, with a focus on color, shapes and expression, moving away from realistic representations. I transform each collection by exploring new techniques and materials, introducing different types of paints, brushes, spatulas, fabrics, papers and tools that encourage my experimentation. In my studio, in solitude, accompanied by my music, I quietly contemplate my work and reflect, as a journey into my inner self that allows me to release emotions and feelings. The state of contemplation is so deep that it acts as a catalyst that helps me to be more aware and observant, and I reflect this throughout my journey as an artist. At the end of the process I am surprised and excited by what I expressed, eager to continue the journey.
