About The Artwork
This work was inspired by a time in my life where I felt like I had lost a lot. I poured my feelings of hope in a dark place into this piece. Its mostly acrylic on canvas with touches of metallic acrylic for additional depth to the work and to represent the little hope shining through. the painting style is intentionally not as refined as modern fine art portraits to represent imperfection and create a unique texture to the surface of the work.
