My painting focuses on the incredible beauty, fragility and resilience of the natural environment. The work is a form of advocacy, inviting the viewer to take a closer look, appreciate and protect the biodiversity of these unique and vulnerable pockets of surviving bushland, which are so critically important to the health of our planet. This scene is painted from a local bushwalking area near my home town in regional NSW.
