View of Bay Street in Toronto, facing the Old City Hall in a far distant future when there are no longer masses of people roaming the streets or cars driving around. What's left of the once so busy street is nothing more than a few blocks of ancient ruins waiting to collapse. The streets are now filled with sand and the traffic and other city noises are now replaced with the serene sound of the wind blowing over this desolate landscape.

I was born in 1980 in Utrecht, a city in the Netherlands.It is this city I grew up in and the cities and places I came across since that I let me inspire me in my work mostly.As I painter I choose to paint in 1 style only: realism or magic realism. For me as an autodidactic painter, it is the most interesting style to express myself in. architecture plays a very important role in my work and buildings and cities, often painted in a strongly exaggerated perspective, are a returning theme in my paintings.
