BeBe-Leading Lady Painting

I am an Outer Banks native who now has roots in Raleigh, North Carolina. With mostly everything closed and not knowing anyone, my April 2021 move to Raleigh made my art style bloom (literally and figuratively). I then developed my own art style that has now evolved into creating line art drawings that eventually progressed into figure line art drawings with florals. My company, Florellie, is a brand where sophistication meets boho and is meant to inspire women through creativity. Its namesake has a meaning. The “flor” stands for florals and the blooming and blossoming of a flower. “Ellie” is short for Eloise; a classic name meaning healthy and confident. Eloise was also one of my grandmother' names. I have found memories of my grandmother nourishing her garden. Florellie aims to remind women that everyone blossoms at a different rate, depending on where they are in life and encourages women to see and embrace who they are; not who they are trying to fit in to a mold to be. With beautifully crafted line art that depicts the uniqueness of the female body along with the uniqueness of flowers, Florellie is a constant reminder that everyone is unique…and that’s a beautiful thing.
