The Reality of Becoming. Animal and human sharing the innate and instinctive principles of being. Globalization and consumerism are depredators of our society, which has the power to transform mass and therefore to bestialize human beings. This work is part I of the triptych Becoming Animal. Influenced by Spanish Culture & British Culture. Made with George Rowney oils on handmade canvas, as oils is my favorite medium. As part of the creative process I also use pencils & charcoal for initial sketches.

(b. Spain) Live and work in UK. Within my practice, I usually turn toward the psyche and creatively depict its secret aim through my work. I like to engage with the ideas of the unconscious, rationality, the complex nature of human being and the myth of animals. I use an extended range of mediums, subtlety impasto, suggestiveness and mark making that allow me to explore concepts and ideas. In my practice, I use drawing, video, digital photography, dance & mime performance to help me developing ideas, some of which become final art pieces.
