Art Description

Painting: Oil on Canvas.

The subject was covered in blue pigment and wrapped with tiger skin. The blue color is often used in the portrayal of hindu deities like Shiva or the trinity- their blue skin being often thought of as a color so black that it looks blue. In this painting I am playing with the notions that is man made in the image of god, or is god made in the image of man?
