About The Artwork
This painting is dedicated to a good friend, a fellow artist and a former student - Jon B. who had passed recently. We started paintings on his scenic hillside property, but did not finish it. I decided to complete my painting in memory of his inspirational spirit. I saw the sunlight through the chairs and felt it's warmth and the mystery behind the chairs in the shadows. Acrylics gives the painting rich colors and is great for layering paints. As with all my paintings, they are painted on museum quality canvases and I use professional quality paints.
