Black Nude Painting

I consider myself a conscientious and intuitive figurative and portrait painter. I find exhilaration in experimentation with oils and a variety of mixed media to try and capture the nature of my sitter or subject matter. I am not afraid to push my boundaries and fully believe that the art produced should be true to the artist. With that said, I creatively and energetically push myself to further my technical and cognitive approach towards my art, and as a result I can at times produce dramatically contrasting paintings which capture my personal experience and character as a 'lively' person. With an array of interests and ideas, I find excitement and energy in each and every painting I conceive. 'art is to be enjoyed and not endured, this always shows in the final product'
