ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This modern botanical illustration celebrates the fine lines and minimal palette of this otherwise overlooked houseplant. The white stems are the unpainted original paper, preserved via carefully painted details with tiny brushes. In a collaboration with Australian botanical photographer Em Warren, this piece was painted by New York-based watercolor artist Katryn Bowe over a 14 hour work session.
