• Presidential candidate Joe Biden’s pick of black senator Kamala Harris as his running mate yesterday is testament not only of the far-left support of the BLM Movement, but also to get the black votes in the November , 2020 Presidential Election. • Started in 2017 as a chapter-based, member-led organization, BLM’s mission was to build local black power, and intervene when racial injustice is inflicted in black communities by American states and vigilantes. • BLM has been struggling to create a world free of anti-blackness, where every black person has the social, economic, and political power to thrive. • The May, 2020 white police killing of blackman George Floyd was used by BLM as an excuse to riot and loot, damaging American private properties . . . only to be stopped when President Trump deployed the National Guard to do a counter-attack. • In my digitally created “BlackLivesMatter” abstract, I painted 2 black men running away from white police, while they wore a colorful coat to hide the fact that they are black.
