About The Artwork
The painting was created abstractively from four Oracle bone characters that as pictographic words were used before 4,000 years. This combination of painting and calligraphy was created by Haixin Tao. If all the color blocks are removed and keeping all the lines and you have four oracle bone characters are translated into English, meaning that the flowers are very beautiful, the moon is bright and round, a metaphor for the beauty of life. This style of work by Haixin Tao is known as the Gold and Jade Series.
