About The Artwork
This new original mixed media painting is inspired by fashion icon of Coco Chanel and it is a part of my ongoing Fashion Bliss Collection. The painting is 24" x 20" X 1.5" on Gallery Wrapped Canvas, Ready to Hang This piece was created with impasto application of acrylic paint after hand embroidered and then attached all the flowers in varying thickness to create the desired effect. For me this painting is a metaphor for life as constructed by reality and imagination. I used bright colors and brighten accents in this painting to magnify the color and texture. Sides are painted as well.
