About The Artwork

• Inspired by the word blue in the Las Vegas street called Blue Diamond Road, I decided to call the abstract by the same name. • The road is a modern 8-lane street west off Exit 33 on I-15 in Las Vegas, and I-15 runs south to California, and north to Utah. • Having used Blue Diamond Road everyday since I moved to Las Vegas, I wonder if someday I'll hit some blue diamonds on the road. • Since diamonds mean little to me, seeing anything blue is what excites me more, since it's my favorite color. That's why I like "Song Sung Blue", not because Neil Diamond wrote it, nor do I like Blue Diamond Road, just because his name is on it. • By using multi-media techniques, with the color blue as my theme, I painted the abstract featuring characters Bill Clinton and Travolta John, hoping to attract lonely art lovers who are waiting for the moon to turn blue. Like red and green, blue is a strong color that signifies toughness, calm, leadership, and high intelligence. • A survey said that blue is the favorite of Americans in general, and the Chinese like red. If you are an Italian, French, British, Jewish, or ISIS, which color do you kiss or dismiss? Blanca must be the one for Mr. Obama; but not for Tiger Woods, who dislikes a dark stranger fearing he'll be in danger. And even though the Democrats are blue, what really excited Bill Clinton, a Democrat, was the "Woman in Blue". • And because Cosby likes red meat, red must be his favorite. • But how about the animals? Cows like nothing but green, but frogs say it's not easy being green. • And if a giraffe takes a tiger to bed, what would be the skin of their offspring? How about the elephants, the fish, and the bees - what colors do they like? If you have a dog, do you know his favorite? • A long time ago, I had a black labrador, and because I did not know then how to talk like a dog, I never asked the dog his favorite. I fed him with a lot of meat, because that's what he likes to eat. To make him feel at home, I built him a modern, comfortable house out of unused smooth plywood, and installed 3 pretty plexiglass wall windows. • Little did I know that male dogs are also like men who like the company of women. • To make the story shorter, would you believe that in spite of the love and caring I gave my dog, he ran and left me after he met a flirty female golden beagle? Did my dog just go for the affection of a female, or did the beagle enticed him with "her gold"? • To this day, I don't know the answer, except for what it taught me in life. I learned that no matter how much you loved someone - an animal or pen pal - try not to "give them your 110%". Keep the 10% for yourself; and move on to find somebody else. • And as my financial associate Brendan from Ireland said - "The ocean is full of fish", because he's also looking for fish. • Anyway, to know more about who like which color, and what they convey - look for my other image called "Mellow Yellow". From there, you'll know that red means hot, which makes me wonder that if I repainted my blue front door red, would fantastic things begin to happen? Or should I go to Sephora to get red stick for my lip? And if this is the thing to do, how would you react, if men and women would all look alike? • And if you are a woman looking for a man, don't go for one with a stick on his lip, unless you know his name is Dick. But if your body is inside that of a man, go for one whose name is Kidman. In case her husband Urban comes around, and hinted that he wanted a man, the 3 of you should talk it over, to see who could best deliver. But if none among you can figure it out, see if your mother is with your father. If not, your mother is probably out looking for a man with a diamond. If she is out of luck, tell her to ask Elton John to sing "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". Maybe that would help.
