About The Artwork
One of my favorite pieces to date, this abstract was created using tape, gel medium for sealing lines, and sandpaper to expose paint from below layers. Acrylic paints are made to be used in layers to bring out new and unique colors and shapes. This piece provided me freedom as I worked on it and using the sandpaper was the ultimate in freedom (or fear!) as you don't know how it will turn out. The colors mixing together along with the white layers from sanding create a vision of blue jeans to me...what do you see in this abstract?
