About The Artwork
This work was inspired by this spring season of beautiful blue skies in North Carolina. I hope viewers will feel a sense of excitement about being outdoors, especially that the world is post Covid. The medium was chosen because of its thick texture. I chose the subject matter to capture varied colors often reflected in the sky including the bright yellows of the sun. Abstract style was chosen because of delightful colors.
