My name is Josef Skynear and I am from Boulder Colorado, USA. I grew up in the art world and am a second generation painter. Up until now, I have never tried painting even though I grew up around a painter and technically know a lot about it. To support myself, I have worked in the IT, Energy, Hotel and Healthcare industries while moving/living throughout the Western United States. For a change of pace, I currently am working in Chesapeake VA. Art wise, I have been influenced by the following art movements: abstract expressionism, surrealism, dada, and impressionism.
