About The Artwork

Blue Wave Within this artwork there are so many areas to talk about. So I will make it simple. While creating Blue Wave, I used a rhythmic motion during the creation process. Dancing around the canvas writing, drawing and painting from all sized together. My goal is to make an emotional connection from anywhere you view the painting. The markings are calligraphy strokes, Adinkra symbols, and thoughts as they become ideas. This is a slow painting process with many layers and fast bold gestures, before quieting down to the detail. Each mark explores how we interact with subtle and strong thoughts. This is the mind in motion, minute by minute, with all its fleeting thoughts and how I guide them to purposeful action. *Painting sign in lower left front and also on the lower left back. *Ready to hang *A signed Certificate of Authenticity from my studio will be included with this painting and all the materials that were used to complete it. *Blue Wave is part of the Indigenous continuing series of original paintings Please contact me if you have any questions about this artwork or any other one of my paintings! Artfully yours, Vincent “Let the brush and canvas dance their dance”

I am a second generation expressionist painter with a focus on creating paintings that embody movement, energy, and luminous light. My work puts cognitive thinking in the foreground, letting the viewer discover things along the way. I paint each artwork with a mix of expressionism and abstraction, with bold, colorful flowing lines. These works retell history, bringing back special people and places that have been misplaced, forgotten or unknown. I am interested in awakening cognitive thought, harnessing creative energy and to research the limits of universal thinking.
