*This painting is currently on display and for sale at Cibo Famiglia, in Twain Harte, CA. This abstract work draws inspiration from the colors of the sky and sea, and the pint on the horizon where they meet. The overall tone of "Blue and White" is bright and neutral, and the work has a calming quality. The layers of paint were applied with knives and brushes and this gives a lot of movement to the painting. You can see or feel something different each time you look at it. The edges of the canvas are painted dark blue, but the colors of body of the painting drip and run over the edges. This gives interesting dimension when viewed from different angles. The work is signed in the lower right front corner, and signed, dated and titled on the back. It is wired and ready to hang.
