About The Artwork
Acrylic, charcoal, house-paint and pigment on canvas framed in a thin modern black frame. The point Series This is inspired by unintentional mark making… the lines and shapes on a dinner table after you have had a meal with friends, the lines under your coffee cup… even the emotional the marks we leave behind… this series is inspired by social interactions and the impressions we leave behind…. I use pigment, house paints, acrylic and oils. I often use pigment because of its lifeless, matt aesthetic… I also like using house paint and enamel to create contrast in my dark paintings… if I want shape and form to surface in dark paintings I usually combine, matt pigment with satin house paint and acrylic to create that effect.
