About The Artwork
In 2016 (even without any financial cultural support), I decided to create a collection that would eternalize, in my professional life as an artist, a beautiful tribute to some international and timeless icons. This collection called - Stars - was also produced on aluminum support (0.078 thick). Dimensions 40 x 40 x 1.6 inches. I worked for 7 months to create 9 aluminum screens using acrylic paint and media mix (before, to get a better fixation of the aluminum materials, I developed an almost solid mix of product art in some stores). I have always been a lively and vibrant soul who likes to innovate and surprise people, so I continued in my second collection with the Pop Art style in honor of the great Andy Warhol and Richard Hamilton.** I am a self-taught artist who has never studied at an art school, but I literally carry art in my veins that run through my entire body and soul.

Valeria Diaz was born in the city of Recife, Brazil, and at the early age of 7 she was already very interested in observational drawing. Her father was a tailor and her mother a seamstress. Valeria started sewing her own clothes from the age of 14. When the time came for her to pick a profession at 16, she decided to study Product Design at UFPE University (Recife / Brazil), getting her bachelor's degree in 1987. After that, she decided to start her own gym and beachwear company. In 2010, when Valeria Diaz was living in England, she decided to channel her talents to start a painting career as an intuitive self-taught painter and pursue her place in the art world. Back in Brazil in 2011, she participated in several exhibitions in Brazil, an Art Fair in Paris and another in Finland. In 2018, the artist moved to the United States. Valeria´s art is vibrant, original and interactive. Her art continues to decorate and beautify several homes and offices around the world.
