This is how we maintain our dignity and attitude, the transformation from exploitation to service. Apas is a powerful force that carries energy and allows it to flow throughout the body and universe. Water makes up 60% of our bodies and is more obvious in the natural world, showing up as lakes, seas, rivers, and so on. More subtly, it represents both our conscious and subconscious emotions. A person under the influence of this tattva is more loving, soothing, but the depth of the water also has the ability to make us so “wet” that we lose our resistance. Apas is associated with the swadhisthana (sacral chakra) and taste.

I'm a contemporary Romanian artist, creative and passionate of symbols and stories. I paint from my home studio in Bucharest, and also I'm teaching children the basics of visual art: shape, proportion, volume, shadow and light. I graduate University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca. Painting and practicing yoga for several years, I tried to find a simple way to associate symbols found in mythology and folklore for a visual that is easy to decipher for the modern human. I always find support in decoding and bringing to life the symbols by using ''The Dictionary of Symbols'' by Alain Gheerbrant and Jean Chevalier. This book is always present in my art studio. The compositions revel symbols and stories based on dreams, signs of life, and memories, transferred on canvas in a decorative way with great attention to details.
