In Women's Mystery, Željko Karaula has woven women into the landscape, mainly waterfalls and vegetation, and with the process of synthesis and artistic metamorphosis of the figure and nature, he achieved a new substantiality. In beauty of various motifs and in identification of changing tactility, Karaula reached true artistic excitement. Anatomical legibility is moved into the background, thus viewing corporeality in the form of associations, especially in the vertical composition and in the details of the character. With nurturing colors and subtleties of light, Karaula grows female figures, sensual in their materiality, wrapped with soft drapery. Forms are airy, sometimes on the verge of disappearing, fragile, but also strong enough to breathe life. Indisputably, with tonal sensitivity of greyish, brownish and other values, Karaula associated figures and the surrounding area identically with seductive stain-like colors, approaching the structure of enformel spots. Diffused light in the particles of artistic hearing remains mysterious in the optics of noble beauty. Karaula grows discharged volumes filled with refined body writings using gamely modifications and discipline. On large canvases, Karaula gathered the idea of a woman as a synonym for secret. He painted passionately, dedicating this serial to the current time. However, more importantly, he approached the artwork with artistic authenticity and beauty as a guide for understanding.
