"Brief Encounter in the Park" mixed media on board 51x41 cm. This was an interesting and strange creation. No paintings are the same just as no stories behind paintings are the same. I do not consider myself special in any way, although, everyone in this world is special in their own unique way and everyone has their own abilities and gifts they bring to this world. In general when I start a new painting, each of them manifests itself in different ways. Sometimes the name of the painting comes up even before I pick up a brush. Sometimes I find some collage element or interesting image from which the story begins to unfold. Sometimes I take a brush in my hand and start drawing circles, spots or lines in different colors. After a while, the picture begins to whisper its story in my ear and suggests a theme. It sounds like I'm going a little crazy)) I think we are all a little crazy, only each in their own way. And that's great! Because everyone is individual and not like their neighbour. I sometimes think that if we were all equally talented, equally educated, equally rich, we would live in the gray world of robots, where no individuality is welcomed. How boring would it be to be alive in such a world. It would be a world without passion, desire, love and creativity. Our world is so beautiful only because we are all different and we have different opportunities and interests. Even the most insignificant person contributes to this beautiful Earth. I digress ... So this picture began with the title. Then two figures came into form. They met for the first time and this chance meeting could develop into a long and happy life together. How wonderful it is to find your other half, now you do not want to live another day without them in your life.

I started out as an artist after a life-changing personal experience which opened up my creative abilities and led me to painting as a career. I have now been a professional artist for the last 10 years. My training started with various courses at the college and local workshops. This led to displaying various pieces in local exhibitions as well as international online art websites. After a few years intensive work I have sold paintings to private collectors around the world including the UK, Europe, USA, Australia, The Middle East, and Singapore. It gives me tremendous personal satisfaction in knowing that a broad spectrum of people appreciate and value my art. My art is inspired by the magical world we live in, the beautiful countryside around me and a dream-like inspiration applied to the paintings. Using oils, acrylics and mixed media mediums I now focus on abstract landscapes, fantasy and mixed media creations employing brushwork, palette knife, collages, stencils, and mark-making tools. I really like telling a story through my art which inspires the viewer and triggers their imagination. I also run art courses to help people unlock their creative talents and unleash their inner artist within. For further information explore my website. Warm regards Galina
