About The Artwork

This is a 4-part multipanel or quadriptych work. It is a divertissement and a visual game. The parts are loose and can be attached in different ways. Originally I worked the composition on the ground and I was creating the 4 parts together, creating an individual composition for each of the parts and a global one for the whole. I arranged them on the ground and my composition was the one shown in the image. However, they can also be hung one after the other and form a more horizontal and landscape composition. My intention was to create very free black lines without any correction and sketch uniform shapes of colour with the brush, but seeking to have a feeling of movement and freedom. The parts are stretched on a wooden frame on cotton duck canvas. And they are delivered in a wooden crate. Each part measures 61 x 46 x 4 cm and when placed in an AB / DC position they measure 122 x 92 x 4 cm.
