In transforming this everyday object into the subject of my artwork, I aim to honor the unseen, the overlooked aspects of the creative process. The remnants of paint and the history they carry are a testament to the beauty of artistic evolution and the pure joy of color exploration. In creating this piece, I was particularly inspired by the abstract interplay of colors and textures that these boards unintentionally exhibit. It's a celebration of the unplanned, the accidental masterpieces that emerge in the spaces where artists work and dream. I chose acrylics for their vibrant colors and versatility, allowing me to layer and texture in a way that mirrors the buildup of paint on an actual board.
