The Inspiration: Much of my work plays on the elements of texture and movement, pieces like “Building Confidence” specifically emphasize the textural elements that naturally come along with palette knife paintings. Working with palette knives not only creates a texture that I obsess over, but also takes away some control and precision I would usually have with paint brushes. A Brief Biography: Meredith is a self-taught oil and acrylic painter living in Indianapolis, Indiana.
