About The Artwork
This is a collaborative art piece , I created the wood piece from an old dead tree and sanding it and varnishing it with natural oils creating a beautiful wood earthy glow. The artist who painted it is a university student and a talented artist but doesn't know it yet! ;) It was inspired by nature and I hope people just see a beautiful simple colourful creation that is literally made from nature right outside my back yard and inspired by it through painting of the butterfly. It was hand sanded and cut as well as hand painted with use of a natural stainer to get that rich tone and then sealed with a type of laqeur which should be fine in any bathroom or area that has moisture.
